Como se usa "quite a bit of"?

If you've got QUITE A BIT OF something, you have a fairly large amount of it.

Se você tem QUITE A BIT OF de alguma coisa, você tem uma uma quantidade bem grande dela. 

Examples:

- She made quite a bit of money in her first business (=She earned a lot of money).

   Ela ganhou um dinheiro alto em seu primeiro negócio.  

- If you want to play the piano, you'll need to spend quite a bit of time practising (=a lot of time practising).

   Se você quer tocar piano, precisará passar um bom tempo praticando. 

Note: "Quite of bit of" can only used with uncountable nouns like money or time, while "quite a lot of" can be used with uncountable nouns as well as countable nouns.

Nota: "Quite of bit of" só pode ser usado com substantivos incontáveis como dinheiro ou tempo, enquanto, "quite a lot of" pode ser usado com substantivos contáveis e incontáveis.
